The problem
The restaurant needed one system behind both sides of the counter: a customer-facing menu in Arabic and English, and an admin dashboard where stock and the status of every order stayed in agreement with it.
Constraints
- Arabic and English across the customer site and the admin dashboard alike.
- A configurable burger had to show its price while ingredients were still being chosen, not at checkout.
- One inventory had to drive both the public menu and the dashboard, so an order deducted its ingredients automatically.
A full-stack restaurant ecosystem supporting both Arabic and English, with a customer-facing website and a comprehensive admin dashboard.
As backend developer (Laravel & MySQL), I built: the custom burger builder system with real-time price calculation as customers add ingredients; comprehensive inventory tracking powering both the customer menu and admin dashboard, with automatic ingredient deduction on orders; and the complete order journey from "add to cart" to "order delivered", with live status updates, PDF receipt generation, and order analytics.
Collaborated with frontend developers and designers using agile sprints.
